Dr Ahmed Ibrahim
Dr Ahmed Ibrahim is a UK-trained GP who has recently moved to Australia, bringing with him many years of experience in both general practice and hospital-based care.
He graduated in medicine from Ain Shams University, Cairo, in 2002 and went on to build an extensive international career across hospital and primary care settings. Before specialising in general practice, Dr Ibrahim spent over a decade working in anaesthesia and intensive care in both Egypt and the UK. During this time, he earned advanced qualifications including a European Diploma in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, as well as a medical doctorate in anaesthesia from Ain Shams University. This strong foundation allows him to confidently manage urgent and complex medical situations.
In 2022, Dr Ibrahim completed his GP training in the UK and became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). He has a passion for medical education and has enjoyed teaching and mentoring junior doctors and medical students throughout his career.
Dr Ibrahim enjoys all aspects of general practice and is dedicated to providing clear, compassionate, and evidence-based care to his patients.
Outside of work, he stays active with regular walking, enjoys watching movies, travelling, and reading about history.
